Here is my first blog video. Bridget loves to watch "Dora the Explorer" videos on the iPod Touch. She can completely navigate through the iTouch by herself now. I got a quick video showing her turning it on and starting her video. She will also switch videos, look at photos, do the scribble app and such. It's crazy - I never expected her to be this good at it this young.

Happy Valentine's Day
Here's our little lovebug. We kept missing the exact moment she smiled and said "cheese" but the pictures still came out adorable. She's all dressed up for her Valentine's Day party at daycare.

Frozen Fenway
Ken and I braved the snow and bitter cold to cheer on the Boston College Eagles in their Frozen Fenway game against BU. Despite how bad the seats looked for the Winter Classic for the Bruins on TV, our seats were high enough up that they weren't too bad. It was really cold though. The final score, you ask, oh that doesn't matter... but the Pep Band did awesome!
I just love this picture of Ken and I.
The view from our seats.

16 Months - Queen Bridget
Bridget is 16 months (okay, 16.5) and doing great! She is learning words at an incredible rate. She now says "all done", "all gone", "sorry", "hat", "bear", "phone" and more. At her 15 month appt a few weeks ago, she was 31.75 inches (50th percentile) and 20.5 lbs (10th percentile). Since that appointment she seems to have had a growth spurt though and is now in 18 month clothes except for pants. We finally got her some new 18 month pajamas. They looked huge in the store and fit her perfectly; she's getting so big! Bridget's one year molars have poked through on top and the canines in between those and the rest of her teeth seem ready to burst. This means that she currently has 6 teeth on top (with 2 more ready to go) and still only 2 on the bottom. Poor kid still has to eat all her food like a squirrel. She was a champ with the teething though. She also seems to be transitioning to one nap a day. She had been fighting the afternoon nap but then being cranky at night so I've been putting her down a little later in the morning for one long nap. This seems to be working well so far.

Christmas Presents
Our annual family picture with the Christmas tree. You may be able to notice that the only things within Bridget's reach are non-breakable ornaments. These mostly consist of plastic balls with red string wrapped around them which Bridget refers to as "apples". She loves to play with the "apples" and bite, throw, hide, and (try to) hang them.
This year we started a new tradition of opening one present on Christmas Eve and getting new pajamas to wear for Santa! Since it was the first year, we all have matching pj's!

Here's Bridget playing with one of her new toys and giving Daddy his present. This is her saying "cheese" for the camera and smiling. We can hardly get candids now; she loves to pose for the camera.

Wearing our Christmas jammies! I did a great job matching.. you can hardly tell where Bridget ends and I begin in this picture!

Ken and Bridget relaxing. Ken is copying T.O. and wearing Big Feet pajamas. They even have a drop drawer in the back. He loves them for lounging around but says they get too hot to wear overnight.
