My baby is turning ONE tomorrow!

I simply can't believe that my baby is going to be ONE tomorrow! Here are some of the last infant pictures...

(above) Practicing walking. She loves going up and down stairs.

(above) Another walking picture. She's getting so close!

(above) Bridget climbing through our coffee table. Even though half her head is strangely shadowed, she still looks wicked cute.

(above) Bridget being super cute to try to get out of a diaper change.

(above) Got you! Time for that change!

(above) And here is Auntie Kathleen the wicked funion witch babysitter!

Plum Island

Ken, Bridget, my mom, and my sister Kathleen and I all went to Plum Island on Saturday. We had the perfect weather for exploring and it was early enough in the season that the mosquitoes and green flies haven't started attacking. All in all, an awesome day.

Here is Kathleen and I at a high point on the Dunes trail. You can see the ocean in the background.
A family shot. :) Bridget had a great time people-watching from her baby bjorn and found the ever-changing scenery stimulating. She smiled at everyone we passed and watched the wind move the trees and birds fly overhead. She loved it!

This is a nice shot of the travelers at the same high point on the Dunes trail but facing away from the ocean. Mom is representing my alma mater, Boston College.

I love this one because you can see Kathleen in the background waving us over excitedly to see a new bird and it looks like Bridget is reading the guide book. You can also tell that Bridget is in two outfits since you see her jeans peeking through one leg of her outer fleece outfit. :)
Ken got quite a workout carrying Bridget around all over the trails and down to the beach. I logged ~8500 steps that day so there was some mighty walking.
